The MacTips Learning Centre
Mac Tip #242/10-May-2006
Over the last few years I’ve written many hundreds of thousands of words explaining Macs and Internet technologies (separately and together). Some of that writing appears here in these regular Tips. Some of it appears at my blog.
I also write for the New Zealand Macguide magazine. My regular Newbies Guides and Powerup columns have been published since issue #6 in November 2002.
Another place to find my tips, in this case targeted to community groups, is the monthly Communitynet Aotearoa Panui. The first Tip appeared in issue #1, October 2001.
I’ve also written articles and training materials for other clients. Some have been published at the Wise Women website, NZMac.com and Digital Web magazine while much has not yet been put online.
For a while I had a Learning Centre where some of this material was collected. Unfortunately I chose unsuitable software and it was hard to use and confusing. A couple of months ago I scrapped that system and have been rebuilding the Learning Centre as a central collection point for all my articles and training materials. Although I’ve not yet added all the backlogged content I now have it in good enough order to suggest you visit. Every day I’m adding more material.
If you find these Tips useful I know you’ll find the new Learning Centre useful too, and it even has a full text RSS feed so you can get new articles delivered automatically too:
