MacTips has been delivering at least one practical, useful Tip per week for more than a decade.

Tips are targeted at beginning and intermediate users of Apple products such as Mac desktops and laptops, iPhones, iPads and iPods, iTunes, iPhoto and other software that runs on OS X or iOS.

MacTips also publishes reviews of relevant products.

YouTube videos

Many Tips are accompanied by YouTube videos — the first was added in June 2009. There are now more than 60 videos in the Practical MacTips YouTube channel. Many include Google AdSense ads.

MacTips has experienced astounding growth in the last 3 years. In July 2008 there were approximately 8,000 views per month. In March 2012 there are 12 times as many — 103,000. The trend is still upwards.
