Powerpoint has the copy paste formatting allowing you to copy the test formatting from one text object and apply it to other existing items in your document. In keynote you can use alt+command+C to copy a style from one text item, and then alt+command+V to paste it onto another. Yeah that’s a nice feature. Follow the instructions on this <a href="http://www.macworld.com/article/50828/2006/05/cmdnrevert.html" title="Bring back the old Command-N" rel="nofollow">Macworld tip</a>, substituting Mail for Finder and "Paste" and "Paste and Match Style" for "New Finder Window" and "New Folder". I was looking for a way to make “Paste and Match Style” the default — and finally found it!
