Mac Tip #191/13-April-2005

Here in New Zealand our standard paper size is A4, while in the US people seem to prefer US Letter. It’s important to get the right size for your pages, as if you choose the wrong size you’ll have trouble when it comes to printing.

Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) make sit easy for you to set the paper size for all your documents. Go to the System Preferences and click on Print & Fax. Make sure to click on the Printing tab. Now you can choose the Default paper size for Page Setup.

Notice that you can also set your default printer here too. This is handy for those who have access to more than one printer.
