Open Recent Files
Mac Tip #173/17-Nov-2004
Just this morning you were working on a document and now you can’t find it again. Provided you haven’t done too much else in the meantime you can quickly open it again from the Recent Items section of the Apple Menu.
You can also open a recently used folder from the Go menu in the Finder.
In some software, such as Microsoft Word, you’ll find a list of recent documents at the bottom of the File menu and you can open them from there.
If you use AppleWorks you probably see the Starting Points window when you start up. There’s a Tab on there which shows recent documents. If you’ve closed the Starting Points window call it up again with Show Starting Points under the File menu.
