It’s a Case of Capitals

In my early tips I supplied a title for each tip but wrote it in all caps. I also didn’t put that title in the Subject line. Now in my store of messages I sometimes want to remedy that omission. I copy the title and paste it into the Subject line but I want it in Word Caps — that is with a capital letter for each main word, but otherwise lower case.

I can select that text in the subject line and then choose Message Plug-ins from the Edit menu. From there I choose Word Caps.

Word Caps from Message plug-ins.

This is also very handy for those times when you accidentally type a whole chunk of text in all caps but want to normalise it before sending, or for messages you’ve received in all caps. See Tip #76/11-Apr-2001 Pink and White if you’re not sure how to change a message you’ve received.
