Eudora Tip #190/30-July-2003

Remember that email you received last week with a link in it? You clicked the link, visited the web page and then trashed the email. Murphy’s law says that the day after you trash the email you’ll need that link again.

Luckily recent versions of Eudora keep a list of links you’ve double clicked from within a message. Go to the Window menu and call up Link History. Now you can see the addresses of those visited links and the date you most recently double-clicked it. Simply double click the icon or select the link and click the View button at the bottom of the window.

And how long will Eudora keep track of those visited links? Probably 14 days unless you change it. To keep them for a different length of time double click the setting below and enter a new value.

Number of days to keep unused link history entries around for.
