Minimise or Check Mail?
Eudora Tip #169/05-Mar-2003

This Tip’s for the “tenners”.

In Mac OS X you can minimise a window (shrink it down into the Dock) with Command M.

This conflicts with Eudora’s keyboard command for checking mail.

If you visit Eudora’s Settings though you can change how the keyboard command behaves. Go to Settings – Miscellaneous and notice the items for Check Mail with Shift – Command N, minimise with Command M.

If you check that box you will allow the normal OS X Minimise command to lay claim to Command M. If you don’t check it then Command M will check your mail.
