Command the Comma
Eudora Tip #63/27-Dec-2000
In Tip#61 I wrote: Start typing the nickname and then to help choose the right one hit the up or down arrow. This will take you through each relevant nickname in turn.
Christopher Stone, a regular contributor to the Eudora Mac mailing list, reminded me about using the Command and Option keys.
Make a new message and start typing a nickname. Now press Command and the Comma to see a list of all names which might relate to that nickname. Add the Option key to the mix and you’ll see a list of names and email addresses.
For example, when I type the letter R and use Command-Comma or Command-Option-Comma my list of names includes Rachel, Red, Ric, Robyn, Roger and Ros. If I type Ro though, the list reduces to Robyn, Roger and Ros.
Once you can identify the name / address you want just choose it from the list.
