You mean a filter can do that?
Eudora Tip #31/22-April-2000
Different versions of Eudora offer different filters. If you have an old version or a free version you might have only a basic set of filters (or even none at all). This tip is based on Eudora 4.3.1 (paid).
It pays to explore your Filters. If you’ve only ever used a filter to automatically transfer messages to a mailbox, then you could be in for a pleasant surprise.
One of my filters reads aloud the sender and subject as the messages are filtered. Another doesn’t open the mailbox when it transfers the message. Yet another automatically sets up a reply using a standard message.
You can use a filter to copy messages, to automatically reply or forward, to play a sound, set labels or priorities, or even to change the subject. Take a look at all the things a filter can do for you, and remember, if you set up a manual filter then you can test it easily. [You'll need Special menu: Filter Messages.]
