Eudora Tip #17/13-Jan-2000

When your emails arrive they automatically go into your In mailbox. They don’t have to stay there though. If you select a message in the list you can Transfer it to the Trash using the Transfer menu.

Another way to delete the message is to select it and press the Backspace / Delete key or press Command-D.

All of these actions simply move the message to the Trash mailbox. When you Quit Eudora you will be asked whether or not to permanently delete them.

While a message is in the Trash mailbox you can do anything with it which you can do while it’s in the In mailbox.
